I’m a first generation Syrian-American with Armenian ethnic roots. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Currently, I’m a staff photojournalist at the Houston Landing. My work focuses on immigration, identity, place, and marginalized communities.

My photos have published in the Star Tribune, Detroit Free Press, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, The Atlantic, and The Washington Post. I’m a member of the Arab and Middle Eastern Journalists Association and Diversify Photo.

I’m currently a master’s candidate at the University of Missouri, school of journalism. I speak English, Armenian, and Spanish.
